My husband was craving Gobi Manchurian, so we found this place and came here for lunch. Little that I know what an outstanding this meal this would turn out to be. From the bhel puri over the chole bhature to the Manchurian and finally the rasmalai, every single dish exceeded expectations. The bhature was so soft and not at all greasy. Every single dish was so well balanced and packed with flavor, all the textures spot on. The place also looked nice and the service was quick. Couldn't have asked for more.

The manchow soup was simply awesome. Very good service and the manager montu is v v friendly. The setting is very classy and vibe is v nice. I liked the crowd too Kind of transported me to the same hotel in bangalore. Paneer sabzi was ok but garlic naan and Sindhi chapati were great. Hidden gem in middle of Manhattan do give a try. Definitely customize the spice level

A well known chain of restaurants in India . Been to their Chennai branch . I always love their chaat items .. but then I went for lunch wanting to eat something other than chaat. They had an exhaustive menu .. looking around the menu , my eyes were obviously wanting the Chole batura :) I know it's one of their best seller there. .i still wanted to check if anything else .. after I ordered they said there was a lunch special menu !! Why wouldn't they give it at the first place ? Lunch special items were also not that impressive . It's kinda a mix of chaat items , Chole batura etc . Lots of space to sit and eat . Obviously there is no parking spots being in the heart of NY .. nice location and easily accessible ... close to many other restaurants.. service was good Chole batura was delicious ! One of the best chola puri I have had in NY NJ . Very authentic and the Chole quantity was very good. Batura had very less oil and tasted great .. loved the experience . Wish they had more menu for lunch specials and thanks . 4 stars ..

I came here to hang out with friends. I will say that the chaat is some of the best you will find in NYC and that this is the place I would choose to visit for it. Their chaat is fresh and crispy and they manage to get in authenticity of flavor which is hard to come by when ingredients like yogurt and Tamarind change based on the country you're in. Its set up like a formal restaurant and definitely has a strong smell of food when you enter. They can usually seat you immediately, but dinner time tends to be a little busy. I do recommend some of the traditional north Indian food here but I would also say that there are many good options for that kind of food in New York. Come here for chai and chaat The wait staff does speak Hindi and the masala tea is pretty good as well. I would say this is the place I come to when I have a craving. I'll be back soon!

The food here is phenomenal. I had the chaat platter, paneer lazeez masala, and awadhi kewra biryani. The chaat platter came with bhel puri, papdi chaat, crispy corn basket, and tikki chaat. There was a wide variety of flavors between the dishes - tangy, spicy, savory, and bright, plus crispy textures mixed with soft ones. The paneer lazeez had a rich, smoky flavor and creamy gravy. The biryani was the star of the show - packed with plenty of spices and vegetables. The spicy option is pretty hot, but makes it much more enjoyable if you like spicy food. It's definitely one of my favorite biryanis in the city. All of the dishes came out to about $60, which is reasonable for the enormous quantity of food. It was a large meal for two.

***Good Service, Great Seasonings, Spacious*** We came here on a weekday evening and was quickly seated. The food is shareable and large portions. The spice is not for the fainthearted but very delicious. Highly encourage checking this place out if you are vegetarian.

An awesome restaurant in Murray Hill. Food is really good and made fairly fresh. They are also very accommodating for people with specific dietary needs. Their Manchurian was excellent, crispy and well spiced. The pav bhaji was okay, felt a little bland. The paani poori was spicy and the water was perfectly made. They have a specific Jain menu for anyone who has this strict dietary restriction. Atmosphere: This is more like a casual restaurant but the food definitely is worth it. Service: Service was quick and efficient. I very much appreciated the attention to detail. Price: Very reasonable and good portion size. Insta: @TheShahLALand

I love, love their dahi puri and order it a lot when I'm working late. I recently tried their crispy corn chaat and they were equally amazing. Their puris/ mini baskets are amazing and crisp. So is their sev - very hearty too. Chutneys are on point - spicy green and tangy and sweet tamarind. Got the crispy corn chaat this Diwali for a house party and it was a hit with everyone!
